Bev Odom - REALTOR®
With a passion for helping clients discover their new home, Bev Odom launched her real estate career in Collingsworth County in 2006 with Chad Holland Real Estate. She grew up in rural America at Happy, Texas.
After graduation from college with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from West Texas State University in Canyon in 1982, Bev trained for a career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. During this time, she obtained her Texas Real Estate License through Amarillo College before serving as director of the Farm Service Agency in Hutchinson County.
A short career in banking followed getting married in 1986. Being a “community volunteer” for 13 years raising her four children helped Bev learn to really listen to and get to know folks. Through her experiences, she realized the good Lord had laid the groundwork for a career in real estate, a desire she had deep in her soul for many years.
In 2006, Bev’s inactive license status changed with a phone call from Chad Holland. Matching the perfect home, farm or hunting property with the ideal owner is extremely rewarding to her as she continues to build her market knowledge in Collingsworth County.
Happily married for 35 years, Bev and her husband Neal are thrilled with their new season in life as grandparents. Her craving for community service continues with the Wellington Lions Club, Collingsworth County Chamber of Commerce, Methodist Women, Wellington Opportunity Center and Cal and Ina Sugg Medical Foundation.
At work in the heart of the community as the Wellington Editor of The Red River Sun newspaper since 2010, Bev specializes in helping real estate clients realize their dream of home and land ownership by assisting them with the entire sales process. Whether in business or her personal life, she works at it with all her heart as working for the Lord rather than for man and gives her Lord and Savior all the glory for every real estate transaction.
