Chad Holland, as Receiver, appointed by the 100th Judicial District Court in Childress County, is accepting Sealed Bids, subject to Court approval, for the Fairview Church of Christ building and lots at 1910 Avenue I NW with a minimum bid of $120,000.
The building consists of the sanctuary, kitchen, dining area, office, five classrooms, two restrooms, temporary dividing walls for additional meeting rooms and three HVAC units. The building is 5,062 square feet per Childress County Appraisal District and sits on approximately 2.08 acres including the unopened alley and the unopened portion of Avenue J NW.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: All of Lots 1 through 10, Block 113 and all of Block 112, Fairview Addition to the City of Childress, Childress County, Texas.
BUSINESS PERSONAL PROPERTY: All furniture, fixtures, equipment, appliances, van box and business personal property are included and will convey.

TERMS OF SALE: The successful bidder, subject to Court approval, shall enter into a Purchase Contract with Earnest Money deposit in the form of a Cashier's Check payable to H.S. Black Abstractor, Inc. in the amount of $5,000.00 within 3 days of being accepted as successful bidder. Closing must occur within 45 days. The purchase contract will be a non-contingent contract meaning that for whatever reason the buyer does not close within the contractual time period to close, buyer may forfeit the earnest money deposit. Seller to provide Owner's Title Policy.
