The term broker, as defined in statute, now includes a person who controls the acceptance or deposit of rent from a single-family residence. This means that anyone who controls the acceptance or deposit of rent—on behalf of someone else and for compensation—must be licensed. The effect of this change is not only to close a loophole through which unlicensed activity was occurring, but also to ensure brokers are responsible for the property management activity of their salespeople. This change took effect Sept. 1, 2011.

For Lease Listings in CHILDRESS and WELLINGTON


"For Lease/Rent" properties are listed on behalf of landlord/investor clients who have written property management agreements with Chad Holland Real Estate and are operated under Chad Holland Real Estate Property Management. 

Any properties personally owned by Chad Holland and Camie Holland will be indicated by "Broker Owned" in the description and are operated under ACH Properties.

Both Chad Holland Real Estate Property Management and ACH Properties have a NON-SMOKING POLICY and a NO INDOOR PET POLICY - NO EXCEPTIONS. All properties are for lease for 12 months.

Applications, Lease Agreements, Security Deposits and Inventory & Condition forms are required on all properties. All Landlord's selection criteria for tenant(s) include criminal history, credit history, current income and rental history. (If a listing has "RENTED/LEASED" across the picture and "RENTED/LEASED" in the Price description, that means the property has already been leased and is not currently available.)
